MIBL Founding Wave is for people who make their own music — cinematic, instrumental, and the ones playing setar, tar, kamancheh or santur into a laptop at two in the morning.

What we ask

Permission to broadcast the tracks you choose on our main wave. One track at a time, never a blanket grant.
That the work is your own original music. DJ mixes containing other people’s recordings cannot be accepted.

What being selected earns you

When a track of yours is chosen for the main wave, we translate its lyrics into all 16 languages and sync them to the broadcast clock. Someone who does not speak your language can follow the song line by line as it plays. Time your lyrics yourself before then — we translate them line by line against your timings.

It is done one song at a time, the whole song read before the first line is written, so a single voice holds from the first line to the last. That is why it is reserved for tracks we put on air rather than promised on everything uploaded, and why you should send us your best work rather than all of it.

You stay in control

You keep 100% ownership of your music, recordings, lyrics and artwork.

Take any track off air with one click, without giving a reason. It is off within three business days.

The licence is non-exclusive — release, sell and stream the same track anywhere else, at the same time.

We never sell downloads of your music, license it to anyone else, or use it to train AI models.

Questions people actually ask

What is the catch — why is the station free?

There is no catch and no invoice. We are a young station and we need music worth playing; you need somewhere that plays it. That is the whole trade. Nothing is charged at any point, which is also why there is no refund process to worry about.

Do I give up any rights to my music?

No. You grant permission to broadcast a specific track and to make promotional material for it, and nothing else. Ownership stays entirely yours, the permission is non-exclusive, and you can revoke it at any time.

Can I submit a DJ set or a remix?

Only if every part of it is yours. A set built from other artists’ recordings cannot be accepted, however freely it circulates elsewhere — you cannot grant us a permission you do not hold, and we will not broadcast on the strength of one.

What happens if I want to leave?

Take your tracks off air whenever you like. Your uploads, your station and your account are never deleted because you withdrew something. If you remove everything you had on air we may move the station to our standard free tier, with at least 30 days’ notice.
