What comes out
Album art, the track name, a progress groove for the track itself — because YouTube already draws the bar for the video.
This does not exist yet
It is a working engine, not a product. It has rendered real two-hour albums in 4K, but it runs from a command line on our own machines and there is no installer. Turning it into something you could install is weeks of work, so we are asking first. If enough people want it, we build it. If they do not, we will tell you that instead of going quiet.
A visualiser sees a file. Longplay sees an album.
It knows where the tracks are
Every track gets its own chapter marker, its own title card and its own look. Listeners can jump to track eleven instead of scrubbing blind through two hours.
Nothing gets uploaded
A two-hour album is gigabytes. Longplay reads the files where they already are and renders locally, using your graphics card if you have one. Your unreleased music never leaves your machine.
The light follows the music
Twelve effects — embers, dust, aurora, rain, rays — measured against the track's own loudness, so quiet passages stay dark and the peaks bloom. Every loop closes seamlessly, so nothing stutters across two hours.

Questions
When can I have it?
There is no date, and we would rather say that than invent one. The engine works; packaging it for other people's machines is the part that has not been done. This page is how we decide whether to start.
What will it cost?
Undecided. It will be something you buy once and install, not a subscription that stops working when you stop paying — that is the whole point of rendering on your own machine.
Will it need a powerful computer?
A graphics card makes it much faster, and it works without one. For scale: a two-hour album in 4K takes a few hours on a mid-range card. You start it and go to bed.
Does it work with my music, whatever it is?
It is built for instrumental and long-form records — ambient, lofi, meditation, soundtrack, classical. It will render anything, but that is where it looks best.
Who is making this?
MIBL Studio, an independent radio station and music platform. We built it because we had nineteen albums of our own and no way to put them on YouTube that looked like anything.
