What VIP does not cover.
Anything that calls an outside AI costs MIBL real money every single time it runs. A subscription cannot absorb a bill with no ceiling, so nothing here is unlimited — for anyone. What VIP changes is that A$5.00–A$20.00 of that use each month is already paid for by the subscription, and past it your rung still takes something off every run. What it does not change is that the meter keeps running, and we would rather say so than have you find out from a receipt.

Before you subscribe
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account. You keep VIP until the period you already paid for runs out — thirty days or a year — and nothing is charged after that.
Does it renew by itself?
Yes, from your MIBL wallet, so it never fails because a card expired. If the balance is short it simply does not renew — you are never taken below zero or sent to collections.
What happens to my books if I stop?
They stay published and stay yours. You go back to the free tier's limits for anything NEW — an extra book or a fourth chapter would need VIP again — and the publisher seal returns to your covers.
Is this the same as a Cloud Radio plan?
The station is part of it. Every rung of MIBL VIP includes the Cloud Radio tier of the same name, so you never buy the station separately — and the free tier stays free, with no subscription at all.
I only want one tool. Is VIP worth it?
Probably not, and we would rather say so. Every tool can be paid for per use from your wallet. VIP is worth it when you use several regularly, or when you want the radio station — that alone costs as much as the whole subscription.
Do I need my own server or streaming software?
No. There's nothing to install, configure or keep running — MIBL Studio is the server. Pick a station name, upload your tracks, and you're broadcasting on real 24/7 infrastructure within minutes.
What is the "AI DJ" actually doing?
It plays your library in smart rotation around the clock — even while you sleep — can slot in your recorded voice drops and jingles between tracks, and keeps your station sounding live instead of like a static playlist.
Can I upload my own music, or do I need a license?
Upload anything you have the rights to broadcast — your own productions, licensed tracks, or royalty-free sets. Every upload is converted to your plan’s stream quality, and a track the copyright check flags is held off the air before it plays.
What's that retro dial thing on the station page?
It's MIBL's signature analog CRT tuner — a cinematic, hyper-real 3D dial your listeners actually enjoy tuning into, instead of a plain play button on a grey page. It comes free with every station.
What happens if I outgrow the Free plan?
The free tier is a <b>30-day trial</b>, not a permanent plan. It is on-demand — the station sleeps when nobody is listening — with light quotas, which is plenty to test the waters. When the 30 days end the station stops broadcasting until you upgrade. <b>Free stations are not kept forever:</b> once the trial is over we may delete a free station — its files included — to make room for new stations, so upgrade, and keep your own copies of your music, if you want to be sure of keeping yours. Premium gives you a true 24/7 Always-On broadcast, higher bitrate, and bigger listener and storage limits.
Will people actually find my station?
